Unless you do ant wildfowling I wouldn't bother with 3.5". the cartridges are expensive 70 pence each and mostly are available in non toxic. I certainly wouldn't shoot a pigeon with them.

If you are looking for a reasonable gun then the Escort has to be the one.

Cheers

Benelli do a 3.5" in the Super Black Eagle, and the Nova pump. Not all Escorts are 3.5" they also make them in 3"

would like to try wildfowling next season. thats the reason.... do you know anywhere to look for it and aprox costs

PM LG he will put you right

says the Hatsan is good value with 3.5 chamber I think they only run in at about £350 cheap as chips

If you where a bit closes I could help with the wildfowling, mind you we have a member from Wales!

Beretta Xtrema in camo finish is the tool. A very versatile gun. Shoots wildfowl better (IMO) than a 10 b and pigeons... well, like nothing else. Easy to clean, doesn't mind the dirt or the wet and takes pretty much all loads. Looks nasty if you like wood and traditional quality finish but as I always say even Chippendale (the cabinet maker/designer not the stripper) would have used MDF if it had been around in his day. Not!

No thanks i saw a clown using it at the Clay grounds

BOOOOMMMMPHHHH and clouds of white smoke billowing from his barrels

Even the clay ground owner rolled his eyes and in certain words told me the guy was a wan*er

I want my barrels to last a while yet not rot from the inside out

I have an extrema in wetlands camo its a great gun.

I would not recommend you getting a 3.5 inch unless you really want to fire cartridges over 42 grams, as a 3 inch chamber copes well with these.

The cost of heavy loads is extortionate. I use the Mirage SUPERMAGNUM 89 - TURKEY LOAD 66 gr. you will really feel it if you fire three in quick succession.
