Mungler Posted April 20, 2006 Report Share Posted April 20, 2006 There are plenty of clubs round here that cater for shooting on Saturdays / Sundays between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. however I was looking to bunk work tomorrow (pref a.m. only) and can I find a clay ground that's open? And why is it that only a handful (the bigger ones) have websites? Of those most don't even contain any useful information like ermmm opening hours and directions. Pppppfffff. MC Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 Mungler, There is Braintree Shooting Ground 01376 343900 And Parkford Shooting School at St Osyth Not sure of the phone no. If you look in Sporting Gun every month they have a pull out with all the clay grounds and fixtures. MC Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 Mungler, Glad you enjoyed it, I suppose that Briantree is my local ground, although I don't shoot there very often. They do run a good open 40 bird shoot on a wednesday evening and a 50 bird on a friday. They move the cages around for that so they vary the birds.
