how do i know what thread my rifle is

to do this right you will need a measuring device e.g. micromiter a set of thred gauges metric and imperial and a thred form chart e.g. zuse book as the otheres say measur the od of the thred for metric yes you cam measure the peaks of the thred but with imperial there is loads of diffrent angles in the thred depending on what form it is e.g. bsw bswf unc unf and moor hope this helps :good:

Spot on.

I did precisley this only yesterday to assist yankidoodlepigeon.

His Tika measured up at M14 x 1mm pitch.

He is now on the hunt for a suitable moderator for his 308.
