Thunderbird
Reading about Terry's popular and successful crayfish outings I'm wondering if anyone goes in the Glos or Cotswolds area?
salukiwhippet
Yep, got access to flyfish about 200 yards of the Churn, I have taken 60 crays in 3 pots in an hour up there - it's lifting with the *******! James
HDAV
Saw somewhere that the water park may well have them as will the tributaries to the Thames
hendersons
They are everywhere round me. Every bit of water be it river or lake has them in. Nick
ziplex
Reading about Terry's popular and successful crayfish outings I'm wondering if anyone goes in the Glos or Cotswolds area? Huge ammounts in the gravel pits around South Cerney/Ashton Keynes.........might pay to approach the resident angling clubs? I expect they'd be delighted to get rid of some. I have been told by one of my customers at Aggregate Industries that an older guy regularly empties dozens of traps on the water along side the factory and sells them to restaurants. hendersons
I know the guy well £7 a kilo he charges. I think a lot of the angling clubs do it themselves as a way of topping up their money a couple of times a year.
