steve_b_wales
I used them a few years ago, for rough shooting, and found them to be okay.

Vince Green
Is it true that they are no longer in production. /S/ Very unlikely they are not in production. Gevelot are a major European manufacturer, the French equivilent of Eley. I think what you mean is they are not imported any more. That is probably true, people only want the cheapest cartridges they can get.
Alycidon
I have used them in the past with no problems at all. A
matone
Pretty sure Gevelot ceased all ammunition production some years ago to concentrate on other products.

PBerger
I have just posted about a job lot of cartridges I have bought, in amongst them there is a pack of ten 69mm no 1s in a plastic case by Gevelot. They are crimped closures in plastic, they seem quite old, but obviously in plastic not that old!
TIGHTCHOKE
They are probably older than this thread!

PBerger
I recently mentioned I had purchased a bulk load of cartridges from an old friend. Someone asked if I had any photos, so I thought I would attach some. In the line of individual cartridges there is the German and Italian roll tops I mentioned in the post, plus an old (ish) clay cartridge from a shop in Bromley, it’s an old phone number, but they are plastic so no idea how old. The box on the left from a shop in Farnborough make up the bulk of the purchase around 400 cartridges. On the last picture is the various magnums and no1 shot cartridges. Hope these are of some interest.
