red_stag88 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Share Posted June 24, 2003 Hello all, Over this term during my classics lessons i have watched the cycle of life. It started when i came back to school, there was a pigeon sitting in the gutter all the time. After half term, it was walking about and shoving its head in the gutter. A few weeks ago a rather downy pigoen was wandering about rather worredly on the roof, being vomited at regulally. Last week it was maninging to flutter about a few feet. Today in my classics exam, i watched it walk to the edge of the roof, get nudged off by its parents and land back on a few feet away, the parents nudged it a bit harder, it flew a bit further. Then finally jumped, and flew a few yards, grew visiably tired and promptly got hit by a passing 18 wheeler. I cuckled to myself and continued writing about Homer and the Odessey.
