Expensive gun

This time with a S/S Purdy clay gun made in the 1920's and valued at £20,000

The top bloke not only let me have a go with it, but threw in a bit of tuition as well :good:

What a fabulous bit of kit, felt really light and gave hardly any recoil. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

Unfortunately way out of my league

Many thanks  Look forward to the article on it somewhere.

A place between Writtle and Margeretting, just off the A12 called Copfurn. He seems a genuinely interested and enthusiastic bloke who obviously knows his stuff, (you should see how he handles a gun).

Is that the place that's "in" the woods and meets twice a month?

I went to my regular haunt at Stock..... where as usual I kicked all my mates' *****. Yes Dave, if you are reading this, banjo time for you again next week.
