Cranfield
When you go decoying its more or less obvious what you take, gun, decoys, net, poles etc. What other things do you take? I take 2 carrier bags. 1 for cartridge cases and one spare. Small roll of green garden twine.Ties down hide, game carrier for pigeons etc.
Cranfield
William, my intention was to see if anyone took anything out of the ordinary. A seat, is not "out of the ordinary". I,m typing this slowly so that you understand.
BigDave15
Well i take a seat but the only thing i take that you might find strange is a small air pistol. I find this good for finishing off wonded birds i just put it to there head and pull. or just give them a nother barrell if i cant be botherd to leave the hide!! lazza
I usually take Kev! He's about as "out of the ordinary" as you can get!
Deako
I always take a microwave oven with me as I find it very useful for heating up pies, pasties, etc. The only problem is that I've never been able to use it as I never have anywhere to plug it in................. Steve
I always bring my Leatherman multi-tool. Knife, saw, pliers, screwdriver etc - very handy.
mick
i would never contemplate sitting in a hide for any length of time without my KELLY KETTLE this makes my life worth living ,a nice fresh brew on the hour. and the smoke don`t seem to bother the pigeons in the slightest . i`d advise everyone to get one 8)
mick
ps the main advantage of the KELLY KETTLE is when the birds dry up put the kettle on and i`ll guarantee as soon as your busy making a brew they`ll start coming in again :
Cranfield
Ah, the old Kelly Kettle, Mick, Us technically challenged people have to rely on a flask. I,ve never been able to light a Tilley Lamp either.
