Always been into bikes.

Was a track day instructor for Focused Events for 4 years

Looks familiar, were you instructing in 2010? If so I think I may well have had a day with you! :D

 

If not, another of their instructors is also running a Crescent Gixer!

Been out & dropped a deposit on my new wheels today....... :D

 

Roll on March 1st - a spangly spanking new Ducati Multistrada 1200S Sport in red!!

 

Specced up a bit with touring kit added on and a Termignoni full system.

500 Rickman Metisse which I had years ago. Bought it for £300 and sold it for a grand. Nowadays a fully restored one goes for £5K. It had a unit 5TA Triumph engine in the Rickman nickel coated frame with oil in the frame. Always needed a fettle and lousy brakes but good fun.

I grew up on Brit two strokes and 4 strokes and they are great fun, but you have to love them!

Great pictures - The Rickman Metisse's are great to look at but you spend ages keeping them looking that way. They are also a bit heavy - I can still remember giving my Triumph Metisse a handful of gas on soft dirt. It just buried the back wheel down to the axle! But you can have a new one if you want:
