British law making is dependant on experts, the definition of an expert is; X is the unknown factor and PERT as in erect nipple! The law says in England and Wales a rifle with a BORE of no less than.240" can be used for shooting deer (apart from the new .22CF section). The BORE of 243wcf is actually .238-9".
