Hi all,

What are the opinions on the Winchester SXP pump 12g? Are they similar in fitment to the sx3 (guessing so as they look similar).

I've never owned a pump before but fancy one to fulfill the need.

All opinions welcome.

Cheers all.

Dan

You might want to know that the SXP is made by Hatsan. If you`re looking for something inexpensive and don`t mind the risk of having quality control issues, then it`s worth looking at.

Otherwise there are better, but more expensive , pumps out there.

As a pump owner, would I buy an SXP? - No.

i'd have one, how much have you seen them for?

They are listed on guntrader for £385... or even sub 300 S/H

If you can hold off a while, there's a 3.5" version coming soon. And you can guarantee that winchester won't let the quality issues plague the production run like the first time.

Agreed, they're not made in 'merica like the 500 or 870 or Novas, but my browning has made in portugal stamped on it

whats the best pump out of a mossberg 500a v sxp v snova?

I tried them all and prefered the supernova, so i got that one. My mate has an SXP which I also like, especially the price! But as you probably know the 3.5' version isn't availible in the uk yet. Give it 6-12months and I think it will be here.
