Went out on my own earlier to have a sit out over looking a few fields where I regulary see Charlie. No sooner had I got my rifle set out with my LF140 on top of my 222, I drive up the road 50yds lamp on and spot Charlie sleeping in the first field.

I get out an rifle on roof of my trooper lamp back on confirm its a fox put crosshairs between the eyes and squeeze off a shot..... Smack Charlie is dead, walked over pinged back to truck an 157 Yds

Missed a few lately easier shots than this too, little confidence boost tonight lets hope it carries on

Head shots at range are never easy.

If you can wait for a broadside shot mate, might not miss as many as you said.

Well done anyway.

I shoot over 100 a year (and taken over 2,500 foxes now) out to 360m's (under the lamp)(further in daylight) or so have a very accurate sako 22250 and a ziess 6-24x56 with a drop compensator and still wouldn't like a head shot at that range.
