octavia central locking problem

Recommended Posts

The central locking on my car (Skoda Octavia) packed up today I thought at first it was the battery in the key fob but tried the other still not opening the car.

The locks can be operated just using the key(s) does anyone know how to get it working from the key fob?

To synchronise the remote, press any button on the key, while close to the car, door should unlock with the key within 1 minute.

if opening with key      open and return the key to centre as fast as you can  unlock no drama    repeat return slowly windows open possible relock  you need one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Polo-6N-2-3-Door-Lock-Barrel-Repair-Kit-Front-Right-Side-Hatchback-Key/331985672409   easy to do but time consuming fighting spring       if on the button unlocks relocks  or vice versa a spring in the lock needed  a circular spring with two hooks  if no action on pushing fob button on either fob maybe a receiver problem and the key should still work
