andy74
Does anyone know any info on the Modern Arms Company, and the guns they make? I've picked up a very old .410 S/S folding S/G,with hammer cocking. Looks like one of the old poaching style guns,as it folds completely in half. I paid next to nothing for it, as the farmer had died, and the wife just wanted his guns out of the way, she didnt care what it went for. I cant find any info on the net about it, and was wondering if anyone new a bit more information on guns this old, and maybe a value. arjimlad
Sounds a bit too ancient now for information to be readily available. You could try writing to the antique expert chap at Sporting Gun.

Hardy
Google works wonders when you know what to put in Afraid I couldn't find anything other than Modern Arms Co Ltd was a London maker, however as to the value, nothing much seems to be the order of the day: Lot 1283 ...
