Mod removal after shooting

I take mine off Alloy mod + steel barrel (.22LR) not good in long term storage how ever you clean and oil after use.

My opinion and I sure others will disagree but having seen the effects of electrolytic corrosion just by stuffing a piece of ally in with some metal files I aint risking it. I dont want to have to machine off the mod when unscrewing it takes 10 seconds.

Always take mine off the centrefires and store them seperatly as I clean my barrels after each outing. With the .22lr and HMR I clean the rifles and put the mods on the radiator, once dry put them back on the guns before putting away.

Ps I have done loads of accuracy testing using this regime ie clean barrel and on/off with mod and no problems.
