onefulham
Trouble is a lot of them are just best left as happy memories of different times, most mentioned are already rerun somewhere on Sky, trouble is I wonder what I saw in some that I loved at the time, ie The Sweeny, unmissable to me, saw on Sky and so dated, same with the Goodies. One I will throw in, is one I loved Saturday early evening then just stopped, anyone remember Tripods ?
Catweazle
As a lad I liked "The Tomorrow People", it would be so dated now though.

One I will throw in, is one I loved Saturday early evening then just stopped, anyone remember Tripods ? True, even the Young Ones seems a bit, well, still a classic but it's all about time and place isn't it? I think the fallacy is that people experiencing nostalgia (which isn't what it used to be...) mistake a decade or period as being really good but the only thing about it was that they were young and having a great time. 18 year olds today will look fondly on the Inbetweeners and this decade when they're in their 30s and 40s and beyond despite the 'youth of today' and 'hell in a handcart' moaning that many older people and certain elements of the media are so fond of. Always been that way and always will be. Edited February 16, 2012 by Thunderbird

I'll see if I can find any to download... currently downloading the entire 4 seasons of Blake's 7 I did the same a week or two ago (obviously replacing my DVD collection -not aquiring illicitly ) - I have a tip for you though - if you have a large PC monitor or play your d/loads on your tv - don't bother, the resolution is useless for anything bigger than about a 12" screen!
