yankeedoodlepigeon
Hi All. Problem is my lightforce striker is fine with no filter on. When I put a filter on it I get a lot of shine back in to my eyes from gaps round the edge and from the clips. Solution is to tape it up with insulation tape. Problem is its not easy to swap from one to another without taking tape off and re taping when putting it back on again. I did think of going onto Dragons den with a solution but have yet to come up with one....so if you have overcome this problem could you please let me know. Thanks Ydp
Beardo
Are you pushing the filter all the way on, it's a two stage clip and when only pushed to the first stage does what you are describing! Push it on harder.
weejohn
Try taping up round the edges of the filter before it is fitted to the lamp, thats what i have done with mine and easily pops on and off.

WGD
You're abolutely right, and it's nothing to do with how hard you push the filter on - the light refracts and casts out over the lamp man with the filters on these lamps. I have taped mine with black insulating tape then trimmed it very tight to the inside rim of the filter. Takes a bit of time but doesn't effect the fit of the filter. WGD
mine works fine with a filter on The lamp works fine, it's the relatively small amount of light cast back through the edge of the filter to the lamp man that's the problem. bennyblanco
I use a slice of a truck tyres inner tube which covers the shine you get beck from the filters edge, stops some of the noise you get from banging the lamp around too. webber
A large rubber band should solve your problem. Call in at the works I think I may be able to help. webber
