Technically it probably got to be Fawlty Towers. Perfect 10 on all fronts. Don't know its a SIT-com exactly, but the only show I've ever bought the box set of was League Of Gentleman. Rewatched it a while back and it's still got it. Cracking acting and more catch-phrases than you can shake a stick at. A one-off original and completely barking.

Radio 4 Extra has brilliant old comedy on. Steptoe and Son, Hancock, Round the Horne, Clitheroe Kid etc.

My Favourite on the box is Scrubs on E4. Genius writing. :good: :good: :good:

Ive nearly seen them all now, great show.

There are too many to list for "favourite of all time"

It depends on the mood or what you have just been reminded of.

Roseanne before the last series was must watch TV

And all the classic British ones

Arrested Development is unknown but good.

Just working through 1st series, not really found its feet yet - it probably would have been cancelled over here!

I have to say modern american sitcoms are much better than ours - my favourites change all the time currently "Its Always Sunny in Philedelphia" is taking some beating Big Bang Theory works on many levels and 2 Broke Girls works on a "couple"

All time favourite though, bearing in mind patriotism and nostalgia, - Blackadder
