Take a friend shooting

Took a mate shooting today at Coniston. He's not shot since he was a kid popping all sorts with a .410 20+ years ago

My first time there. Unbelievably quiet and what a great set up

He did really well. Thankfully there were a few he couldn't hit that I could. Importantly he was safe.

I learnt something today - it's as much fun bringing someone to the sport as is doing it yourself

Couldn't agree more mate I don't mind shooting alone when I have to but it's so much more fun with others. I visit coniston frequently if you ever want

Some else to shoot with, I tend to go to Kelbrook more often but thimbleby is also a good shoot

Coniston isn't that cheap though. Sure ot looks nice but i'd rather the club house was a mud hut and the birds a bit cheaper because of it.

Trust me sometimes its worth spending a little more for some nice surroundings.....especially in the winter

I got a friend back into shooting and he's had his cert for 3 weeks now and just bought a 686 e. On Saturday we went shooting and he brought along a friend who borrowed one of my guns, now he wants to put in for his cert.......and it goes on
