****** DOWN in Herne Bay tonight between 20.30 and 21.00.

I went out with the Defender and laughed at all the stricken motorists :sick::sick:

Bad, bad boy LB

Nowt wrong with that :)

About a month ago it clattered down near Luton, I got off the road it was that bad but I did enjoy watching the "I have a discovery / other jeep thing so I think I can plough through this" brigade

None of them had given much thought to how internal combustion engines work, or where the motor was sucking air from

Oh how I chortled watching them abandon their cars on the phone to the AA :D

You wouldn't moan about the rain in this country if you've ever shot in San Antonio, Texas during a storm.

I was there at the Beretta World Sporting back in May 1992, and we had the equivalent of nearly a month's rainfall in one day..!!

I would never have believed it could have rained so hard, and the lightning forks were coming down everywhere.

It was pretty awesome, the 25 bird Super Final had to be abandoned as the ground was flooded.

Since then I've never complained about rain in the UK, 'cos we get off lightly.

All this is very true and I made sure I gave the gun a very good clean when I got home, thing is though as I have no-one to shoot with I have to ask others to trap for me and these couple of guys who had just finished the stand offered to do this so they stayed and got soaked as well.
