Iggy
Hi all, Used my Prevail for the first time today, it was fine but I didn't think the ejection was particularly strong? Maybe I need to fiddle with the adjusting screw that turns the ejectors into extractors, but I'd like to take the ejectors off to give it a good clean but they don't seem to come off as easily as they do on other Berettas? Anyone know if this can be done on the Prevail and if so how it's done? I've read a lot about ejector problems on this gun but it's a 2012 gun so I'm assuming these issues have been sorted by now? Thanks all.
BerettaSV10
If its the 2 screws I am thinking about they are on or off making the gun to non ejector or ejector. The adjster in the fore end I thought was self adjusting to keep the fore end tension correct. Mine was a early sv10 and had to have the bottom ejector adjusting as was slow to eject or only partially ejected (about 1/2 inch). Think if you search on u tube there might be a video on how to remove them, amongst all the other how to remove the standard beretta ejectors. Iggy
Hi, Thanks for the reply, I had another play with it this evening and I think it's ok actually. I compared ejection between The Prevail and my SP1 with some snap caps and both seemed to throw them the same distance. Still can't figure out how to remove the ejectors on the Prevail to give them a clean though. I've searched the web and all I can find are videos showing how to remove them from the 682 Thanks again. RAMMER BURT
hi fella, the block that turns the ejection on & off witch has the flat head screwdriver slot has to come out it will be stiff because it has rubber orings fitted you also have to push the ejectors right in to the gun then pull them out
