Hey guys and gals, my father inoaw has a BMW 740i and the drivers side head light full beam stays on.

It's as if a relay is stuck on but we can't find any relays.

Any ideas where the relays are located or what could be causing it.

relays are with fuse boxs , and there 4 of them . main one behind glave box , 2nd behind kick panel near driver right knee , one on bulkhead under bonnet , last next to battery in the boot .

have got a relay/fuse diagram somewhere will have a look for it . if you get a flat battery its easier to use back of starter motor to power up locks with a boost pack .

ive had several V8'S . GREAT CARS BUT A PAIN IN THE BUM FOR NIGLY THINGS .

AFAIK as I know this model uses a "light control module" but the only work I have done on them has been mechanical, wiring diagrams:http://www.e38.org/BMW_95E_38_wiring_diagrams_full_set.pdf may help but I would ask your question on http://www.bimmerfest.com/ or http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/ You might also find http://www.e38.org/ of interest
