stu nesling Posted May 13, 2012 Report Share Posted May 13, 2012 managed this mixed bag yesterday. tom put me onto a field with a few blacks showing on it and this is the result. i shot well and they decoyed a treat too, makes a change from the birds flaring at 100 yds!!. if i let them they would come right into 20-25 yds over the decoys, so i must have been doing something right for once more jackdaws than anything but a few big rooks and crows mixed in there too,so a few more eggs and chicks saved in an area thats good for english + french partridges. and best of all its sugarbeet this year which will hold them well .
