lozrob Posted June 10, 2012 Report Share Posted June 10, 2012 I also had a great day with tony at attleborough, we drove around for a good hour before he picked a spot for me, he did say he had all the gear to lend me , but i like using my own. he helped me set up , then left me to my own devices, he kept in contact with me about every 2-3 hours making sure i was ok. and did i want to move. i ended the day with 79 pigeons , 2 crows, my personel best, not yet been beaten since. cheers. loz Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Lucky you mate I have next Saturday booked and paid for in Surrey and will be booking another day in July then probably going to join a rough shooting club that will set me back £400 a year. lozrob Posted June 11, 2012 Report Share Posted June 11, 2012 i first went march time 2010. my biggest bag ever was march 26 , 2011. he had recently chopped some maize . i went again this year april time , 100s of pigeon about .but mainly on rape, the maize stubble was too far gone. 3 of us shot but only managed 30 odd between us, thats pigeon shooting for you. i will defo go again but keep to middle of march when the maize stubble is new. cheers. loz.
