Not a bad day on the wheat

Had the afternoon free, so went back up to a laid patch of wheat I shot last week.

I havent seen much on it all week, but knew there were a few about, so was pretty confident I'd get a few shots off

Set the rotary and flapper up in the laid patch, both loaded with some dead birds.

The majority of the birds where passing on a flight line to another field (which provided some testing shooting) but a few did decoy nicely :good:

Finished up with 107, only managed to retrieve 1/2 of them :/ would have been alot less without the dog! very pleased with her efforts today :good:

Looking forward to the harvest

The crop dust made her eyes a bit red and weepy. I gave her a quick rinse off this morning and she was fine  back to her usual ''100 mph every where'' self :good:
