S/H Beretta semi's

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

im back on guntrader most nights again looking at semi autos  Cant help myself!

I have been reccomended a second hand beretta rather than a new escort which seems fair.

What do you guys think of them? If i do get one i dont want to spend too much. Definatley no more that £400, preferably nearer £300. I dont want to splash out as its only for pigeons, rought shooting etc. and i dont want to spend loads on a classy over and under while im still growing! Ive been looking at the 302 models (and similar ones) and quite like the look of them.

Will they cycle both light and heavier loads? i might want to do some clay bashing with it and you never know, we might get a few more foxes about, so i want something that will handle a variety of sizes and weights.

However, Im not set on a beretta, a friend of mine has a remington 1100 and gets on very well with it. Any other makes and models will be considered, just want to get a feel for what you guys think of them :) Cheers, Matt

Need to wait until im 18 to sell my 20 :/ Anoyone know if someone has to come out to look when you put another cabinet in if you already have one? Cheers

Really? Why not give it back to the person who gave it to you?

It's at FEO's discretion to come and check, safe storage is your responsibly......

I used and will use again this year a 301 for wildfowling, flawless!

Downside is the chamber size. You can't put 3" cartridges through it which can be a pain for fowling, but for pigeons it'd be spot on I'd reckon, not that I've ever had the chance to find out but...it's one of the reasons I haven't sold it. I live in hope!
