stubby Posted August 3, 2012 Report Share Posted August 3, 2012 (edited) me, the mrs and 2 kids popped down to the TOP SECRET LOCATION for a couple of hours of fun, within the 1st hour we had netted just over the 100, and we beat our personal best twice having 15 crays on one net, bloody rabbit deffo the best bait, after that we moved upto the bridge, and continued our massive haul, another hour their before the rain hit us, the trick there is to let the current take the net under the bridge, as we had another 15 crays per net, finished the session with a total of 271 crayfish, plus a couple of young kids came down with a bucket and net, so I gave them a further dozen or so to start them off, I'll be dragging out the butane burner and boiler tomorrow and we have some american crawfish boil sachets that a friend bought back from the usa for us, may have to go again soon as we have a bbq next weekend, and I doubt there will be any left by then Edited August 3, 2012 by stubby Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
