richiev Posted August 14, 2012 Report Share Posted August 14, 2012 M Reg land rover discovery 300TDI Good bits replacement engine 3 years ( 10000 miles ago) aparently the engine was reconditioned but i cannot prove it New cluch when engine replaced ( new modified i.e. beefed up clutch fork fitted) New timing belt with engine New steering unit 2 years ago New shocks 2 years ago New glow plugs last winter new floor fitted with larger guage steel plate 3 yrs ago. 4 good tyres just fitted Tax till end of Dec MOT til Oct Bad bits A bit tatty inside (no tears) with some slight perishing of window rubbers in places ( no leaks) When steering very slowly there is a slight vibration from hydraulics (either needs bleeding or inefficient pump) its been there for about three years it hasnt bothered me. headlight bulb needs replacing Exhaust will probably need a patch at the back before MOT. Central locking works but only from the drivers side. This vehicle has been my run around for shooting and as you can see i have repaired all the bits that go wrong.
