flynny
Received a letter off the insurance company Frank Pickles yesterday, they are saying they are no longer offering the service / insurance due to buisness changes etc thanks for your buisness over the years but please find someone else to insure your 4x4. Has any body else been made aware of this and know why? ATB Flynny

Trevorevans
This subject has been all over LR4x4 for the best part of a year now and it appears to me that it may depend on where you live, ie. in an area with high 4x4 theft, Landys are going missing left right and centre and it's not just Defenders anymore. I had been with frank pickles for 2 years and they did offer me renewal this year (15/09/2012) but informed me that the current underwrighter was no longer offering this type of insurance and the cheapest they could now quote increased the premium by just over £150. But as you have reported some customers are being notified that they are no longer offering any form of 4x4 insurance and to look elsewhere, it does seem strange though and in a way almost discriminating against certain parts of the country.
