I can only tell you that the SV10 III that I own is, as far as I am concerned, excellent! I like the kick off - makes shooting pretty much any cartridge in any number painless, the balance of the gun is perfect and I find it very quick and "pointable". I tried a variety of makes and models before buying but the second I hefted this gun I knew it was what I was looking for. Friends who have tried it have all been very positive. If the new Prevail has similar qualities you wouldn't be disappointed (and it is nearly a grand cheaper I believe? The SV10 III has been discontinued as it just didn't sell at the price asked and the more expensive elements in the design like Quick removal of stock and trigger set, titanium trigger and trigger guard have all been abandoned with it) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
