fenboy
Normally if something does not sell then its too expensive or its in poor condition , the meteor is a bit of a in between gun as most people want a gun nearer the legal limit for hunting or something with less power for back yard plinking
hawkfanz
meteors are not an in between gun any more,i bought a mk7 177 last xmas as a pressie, and its more than a match for any air rifle it chronos in the high elevens with rws superfields. ace_of_hearts
It is for sale on here and is advertised at £60 with scope. I have amended the advert to include postage options

ace_of_hearts
I would say good condition. It was better until i accidentally got it wet, so now there is some slight pitting on the bluing. Since i have changed the advert i have already had a PM so fingers crossed
FalconFN
It is a good price for what is probably a great rifle, but condition is important and when I looked at the ad when it first whent on, the word that put me off the most was 'pitted'. If it was my rifle I'd take the scope off (as it makes the rifle look decidedly un-sexy) or replace it with a 4 x 40 and re-phrase the ad to emphasise the good points and sell it as something like an 'ideal project' or 'ideal custom project'. Also say surface rust rather than pitting as that has pretty bad connotations (unless the rust is very bad). The rifle should sell at that price but, as said, you may just need a wider audience first.
ace_of_hearts
Thanks for the advice. I may reword the advert as i probably make it sound worse than it is, i have tried to take a picture of the bluing but it is hard to capture accurately
ace_of_hearts
I have reworded the advert to describe it a bit more accurately. I also searched the serial number and have discovered it is a Mk.6 so have added that in too
aga man
fantastic gun mate. if you were up the road from me in hull i would have it for my young lad. the scab on the barrel is nothing a bit of wire wool and some blueing creme wouldn't sort! very good price i would say

jackinbox99
Glad to hear you sold it. Selling anything can be a nightmare sometimes. Sometimes your hand is snatched off, other times people dont seem interested.
