Well me and my brother were off to the shoot Sunday when the van decided to die so went home small fix but decided to go Monday morning instead . Got down the perm this morn got the dogs out guns loaded started to walk down track and up came a phesent first one in bag for my brother. then a nice long shot on a pigeon for me two in the bag allready. SO THE SQUIRELL .

We got to the wood and I spotted a Tree rat so shot it down it went. our dog alby made a super retrieve over the fence and river brought it back looked dead as dead can be so took it off him turned to my brother and the little *****r sank its teeth into my index finger I shouted in pain swang my hand like a **** and it flew off took the skin open on one side of my finger and punctured the other my brother though it was the funniest thing ever and it was after 😄😄😄

But a good day all in all shot two females phesents squirell and a snipe in morn the had a bit of lunch walked it again in afternoon and shot another squirell two male one female and another pigeon there all wild birds so was a good day all in all dogs made some fantastic retrieves and we've got some phesent for x mas here are pics of the day enjoy!!

Sounds like a proper day rough shooting. Don't want to be critical, but I will be, try not to let your dog retrieve squirrels, they can easily do to your dogs face what they did to you finger and make them hard mouthed, especially on fur. The same goes to for corvids, always best picking them up yourself.
