mad1
hi all my 110 is nearly ready to be put back on road can any one recommend a station to use ?? Yes I want it to be safe etc but I would prefere one that understands some of the .... Mmmm features so to speak or braking etc ! Some of the garages I have been to have been more than awkward on some of my other cars I have had . They just seem to want to make money ? Luckyshot
Just take it to the same place you take your frontera as its still only a standard car mot but make sure they know what they are doing when it comes to testing the braking system. My local garage used to take mine on a test drive and check the brakes that way as most garages wont have a 4 roller system and you shouldnt test the hand brake on a roling road. beerdeor
No need for a 4 wheel roller, all MOT stations have a tapley meter to use on 4wd vehicles atb Jim
Loki
Hi Look for your Local Council (motor transport) Depot - they will charge the standard fee (£55.00?) but dont do any repairs so have no vested interest in the 'extras'............... Lucky if they have the gear to do the mot without any extras, a few spanners and a hammer.
