Anschutz .22 semi

Okay, Just getting my FAC- had a rimmie when I was a lad but their appeal faded when I joined the mob and played with the big toys.

I have already purchased an Anschutz semi with mod and bipod which the dealer is keeping for now. A quick Google seems to favour them but the plethora of Rugers vastly outnumber them. Apart from the hen's teeth issue of parts, what's the general feeling regarding them?

I don't know how old mine is - neither does the dealer! But it's in good nick, with a mod, decent bipod and a HUGE sight (didn't see a name) but was assured the previous owner paid £140 for the sight alone. All for the princely sum of £130.

Anschutz are second to none! I don't have any experience of their semi's but I have an .22 Anschutz 64MPR bolt action and it's accuracy and build quality is superb. Many of my friends also shoot Anschutz and all can't fault them. I too was concerned about parts as this is only the second of this model in the country according to the importer - Frank Dyke, London - however parts are easily ordered through a dealer and normally don't take long to arrive - probably the best rifle you'll ever own!
