Well, thought I would just give the field a quick lamp on the way home from work last night, bingo. Nip home, get rifle, result. This was the other one that legged it on Saturday morning when I got the dog. Farmer happy as he has just turned out 40+ lambs over the last few days and the next lot due in 4 week's.

(2 dogs / 4 vixen)

Approx 170 meters.

Total = 95

I keep forgetting to update these lists.

2 dog foxes, free hand headshot .22 rimfire, 60-80 yds

Total 134

GWTC Research : The best estimate of the current British fox population is 240,000 adults in spring, to which a production of 425,000 cubs is added annually. For the population to remain stable, 425,000 foxes must therefore die each year. In both rural and urban areas, mortality caused by man predominates. Gamekeepers probably kill 70,000-80,000 annually.
