When i eventually get rid of my disco 3 and get a pick up i will be getting the hunters fox canopy made up by these guys below but maybe not the same material as in the pic but a smooth alloy sheeting and with side hatches so can sit inside during bad weather and shoot out the sides...looks very good.

Looking for inspiration for a foxing machine, something along the lines of this. http://i969.photobuc.../Fox121/259.jpg anyone got any pictures?

Cheers.

thats not up to much really, we have a pair of seats that sit on the pickup bed and you rest on the pickup roof, simple and works really well for lamping. Takes a bit of intelligence for the driver to swing the truck to face the fox before stopping the engine but thats not hard. Very comfy and the seats we use are old car seats so really comfy. Most things you end up being smacked about in the hip region the only downside is if one comes up behind you but we may make a frame for that scenario.

Got a superb vitara we use.

My mate did a roof conversion on it, its the best lamping vehicle I have shot from!!

One rear seat removed, hole cut thro roof and hatch fitted, complete platform with fold out wings to give 360 deg bipod base therefore no real need to be facing the target!

Has an inner sliding cover to keep you warm and dry till you see charlie then out you pop.

We recently remade the top in 'plastic ply' (Eco sheet I think) and fitted a gun box just in front of hatch.
