Ballymac
Hi guys can any one advise me as to why my hotmail account is freezing. I have to hit the refresh button to get it to open a message and if I move from one folder to another, infact when I go to do anything it freezes. No other program on my computer is affected. Any thoughts

Drive By
Are you using internet explorer and is it the latest version? We have and old version at work and hotmail seems to experience all sorts of issues when i use IE, works fine on Chrome!

Ballymac
yea my facebook account was hacked or it was attempted, someone in Germany. So may have been some issues with hotmail. I have done the virus scan but did not resolve the problem.

Ballymac
Entered the modern world and downloaded chrome, so a combination of deleting old emails running a virus check and chrome have resulted in me having an account that now works. Thanks
BerettaSV10
Have had troubles as well with hotmail using IE, like not saving attachments and other hicups, switched to chrome and problems have gone.
mrwabbits
Msn messenger and hotmail is being swallowed up by Skype ,, iirc, All accounts on msn messenger /live/hotmail etc will be converted over to Skype by June 2013, that includes the IM option too. You will still log on skype with your current msn account addy as and when you convert it over it seems.
BerettaSV10
My msn has already gone over to skype and hotmail has switched to outlook.com, still get the same probs with outlook as on hotmail if using IE9.
