oxfordfowler
OK folks, I'm travelling up to the Solway this Sunday for a week away (with my brothers) for a shooting boys away on their own week. I was wondering what the Geese population and movement is like up there at the moment around the Wigtown area (without giving away any favorite spots). As the weather is looking very interesting - looks as though we could have picked a good week. Cheers OXF PS. Anyone else about up that part of the world next week?. The Ghost
My nephew (KEV i) has just been on the phone & I asked him "how are things looking on the Solway". He said he was out with two other guns yesterday, and he shot three with three on the first skeen to go over...the other lads left with geese as well. As you will know they are here today gone tomorrow, in his words we have thousands at the moment. I have asked him to look for your thread & perhaps he could give you a bit of a heads up prior to you leaving
