WelshLamb
For a newbie (i.e me!) where they won't mind me asking potentially stupid questions I don't want an octane powered version of PW where newbies often get shot down in flames Thanks all!! nobbyathome
visordown is quite good welsh lamb and so is the r1 forum the only problem is most bike sites are men orientated and as usual you are going to get a bit abused ?? you could also ask any questions on here as there are a lot of bikers on pw welcome to the world of motorcycles
maverick123
c90club.co.uk a bit specific but you wont meet a nicer bunch
WelshLamb
I don't mind a bit of friendly abuse  I live and work in a mans world (trucking) I've got boys toys (landrovers and cars) and 'generally' a male hobby (killing stuff ) I should have been born a boy , but in the words of Guy Martin... I'm not gay or owt!!

Hornet 6
For a general forum try ADVRider (has a women only section), then look at bike specific forums, not much point in joining FZ6 riders if you have a CB1000RR Neil.
Garrod
If you are in to track days the best forum is http://www.trackdayriders.co.uk/ but it`s totally focused on track day/ club racing and it`s a very close community and they are a great bunch of guys that will learn you a lot as there is a stupid question section that`s awesome! I learnt a lot there when I started racing and there is a load of stuff for sale or wanted. Edited January 28, 2013 by Garrod
