P~MX
green damsel nymph or somethin orange at this time of the year will work
kent
If we are talking rainbows- anything that's beyond the scope of that which they have ever seen before, but for practice casting just use anything- a Viva will often grab their attention at this time of year if your being conventional
UKPoacher
Black, green or orange. Though at this time of year depth and retrieve are far more important than the fly colour IMO. Deep and very slow would be my first tactic unless you get a warm wind blowing.

Steveco36
Was out yesterday, goldhead olive damsels, Montanas & caddis nymphs seemed to be doing the business for me ok!
Cambsman
Concentrate on finding feeding depth. More important than fly at this time of year IMHO. A gold head damsel or hares ear would be my start point. Failing that try some sort of "Christmas tree" such as a cat's whisker etc. good luck! silver pigeon 3
I have always done well on a goldhead black damsel, with a little bit of sparkle in the tail, or a small orange whiskey.

chris o
My personal choice would be a team of 3 buzzers on one rod then a lure either a hummungus, cats whisker orange dog nobbler or a black tadpole. The hummungus are my favourites you can by them on flea bay. And they have a good wieght to them and sink quick.
