Sounds very strange. If you find any more I'd be very tempted to bring in an agri vet to try and determine cause of death. How high is the deer population in your area as I have heard of deer dying due to lack of food. It was only in the Sun newspaper yesterday where Chris Packham had an article calling for a deer cull due to high numbers out competing for food and causing extensive woodland damage and RTA's. Only other suspicion would be people taking them down with running dogs and bit you think you'd see injuries to the deer. Let us know how you get on mate

Just had deja vous. Think i posted an answer in another topic to this, i take it the same poster.

Other boys reckoned posion, is there Rape fields about, seemingly common on the continent for roe to get rape poisioning after gorging on the plants, think go blind and have reddy urine, another outside shot gorged on a pheasant feeder either been emptied or knocked over and have aate all the grain and swelled up in there guts?

Possibly more likely cause liver fluke, is it in a wet sheepy area, be unusal to get 4 dead close to each other at same time, farmers are haveing a terrible time trying to keep sheep alive and fluke free in some areas
