Mixing it up in the decoys?

Crows hate pigeons! Although i to have seen.them feed close by! I have also seen them chase them off! Crows are very teritorial birds and do not like to share a meal with other species! Although its likely to see them.on.the same feild but less likely to see them mixing together! Get yourself a seagul decoy! Also known as a pilot decoy! They work great for crows!

I read the post rong! Pigeons will come into crows! They see it as safe area! As crows are very nervous and so it must be safe if there on the feild

Iv used a few crows amongst the pigeon decoys before. It certainly never put the pigeons off, but it also never increased the amount of birds conning into the decoys.......... So a pointless exercise IMO.

Unless you are keen to knock a few crows back as well? So long as it's not going to compromise the bag then I'm happy to stick a few around the pattern.

ern.

I set the crows away from the pigeon grouping, I dont mix them on the ground... I dont do this to improve pigeon I do this to give other options if the pigeon are slow coming in or whatever.

Around my way the pigeon and crow happily mix on the ground feeding together.

But as above... nothing lost in giving it a go :good:
