-Mongrel-
As per the title, I'm after some more decoys and as quickly as possible. Is there anywhere in Sussex or Surrey that sells decoys of decent quality off the shelf?
turbo33
Go to countrywide farmers, or scats and get the full bodied feeders. Homebase for some paint pot testers, matt emulsion, a quid ish a throw slate grey, black, mocha and theyt do a slightly pink one, for the breasts. Bit of mixing on a plate against a dead bird for colour matching and they are the best you'll find anywhere. Pretty much all the off the shelf ones bear very little resemblance to a pigeon imho. The only exception is the flexicoy, uttings still do them, but expensive. Edited March 27, 2013 by turbo33

And if you go to Wilkinson's the paint pot testers are 3 for a pound at the minute BB Edited March 27, 2013 by Bluebarrels
FalconFN
I've bought shells and full body rubber pigeons in Stringtown Supplies, Polegate, but they are a small shop and don't always have them in. You've probably tried C H Weston but there is a new shop just north of Lewes, next to Cooksbridge train station, which may have some. I think its called the country store or something similar. Or there is the shop in East Grinstead which may have some.
