955i
I am looking to change the kitchen around and want to move my washing machine about 50cm from its current position to fit another cupboard in but don't know if the waste hose will still reach. Does anyone know if you can extend them or is the length down to the pressure of the water expelled? Ta in advance
JDFrain
yes you can extend them or if you have any worries you could run a new waste pipe with upstand behind the new location of the machine. if you are extending and going onto a spigot on a 1 1/2 trap then make sure to try and keep the pipe elevated to avoid water lying in the pipe JDF

-Mongrel-
LOL Or just go and buy an extended hose! For the supply you can buy them 2m long. For the waste they do a kit that will give you a joining piece to connect the existing flexi hose to aanother peice of flexi that will go to where the old one did. 500mm is inconsequential. Do try and run it as high under the sink top as you can though to prevent back syphoning.
Steve72
You can put an anti syphon connect in
dankidd
All I did was connect another longer hose to the original with a jubilee clip.... Works a treat.
