My first air rifle was a Relum Tornado, purchased from Kays catalogue. I was 13 then. At 15, when I had a shotgun certificate, I bought a single barrel Baikal shotgun,suede cartridge best with 25 cartridges, a gun slip and two boxes of Baikal cartridges for £20. A year later, I bought a Savage 5 shot pump action shotgun, again from Kays catalogue.

From there, it was no looking back, and I have bought, and sold, many shotguns, air rifles, full and small bore pistols and rifles.

I had a sniper repeater, and it worked really very well for a long time. Still have it, though seals have perished, but had a LOT of use

My first gun was my dads first gun, first shot it at 13 A single barrel savage 12 bore with a 34 inch barrel, what a gun for hare shooting, take them out at 60 yards stone dead.

my shooting buddy's got a cooey .410 full choke single barrel - if I ever find one when I'm feeling rich, I'll buy it - it's great fun
