docholiday
Fishing has been as slow as the pigeon shooting down here, managed to find a couple of bream last weekend and the mackerel have finally turned up, These two made a very tasty supper

Teal
Was fishing off Cornwall last weekend, very poor no mackerel were in then. Think everything is running behind this year. Well done on your bream doc, looks like a lovely day to have been out !!
docholiday
Cheers, it was a funny day, sunny and hot in the morning then the sea breeze came in and we had to pack up at 2pm. we caught 3 bream in total, normally would expect 20 to 30 this time of year, oh well they have just said its the coldest spring for 50 years. -Mongrel-
I'm out on a specimen hunt next wednesday, hopefully with similar luck, they've been taking some nice fish recently but as you say, everythings currently 4-6 weeks late in. Our bream seem to prefer ribbons of cuttlefish, hopefully we'll have another August bonanza on them this year as I'm down to my last one!!!
