Like you i'm no expert on air rifles.

I think the gun should be held in a vice aiming at a target.

Shoot the gun

Where the pellet goes through the target line the sights up with the pellet hole.

I think this should be done at about 30 yards but i might be wrong

Just in case you don't know the alinement is done on the 2 twistys on the telescopic sight.

Hope this is of some help, untill someone that does know replys

Put a piece of paper 15 yds away, draw a dot on it.

Lie prone with the gun rested steady on summint like a stack of cusions.

Shoot at the dot 5 times, the scope with have on the twisties and arrow with (on the top) U or D and side L or R.

It will have a guide, ie 1/4 inch at 100 yds, turn the twisties one at a time, start with the L and R.

Shoot at a new dot (still at 15 yds) and get the L/R sorted, repeat for U/D.

Move your paper to 20yds and repeat the process

Move your paper to 30yds and repeat the process

Move your paper to 40yds and DON'T REPEAT THE PROCESS, just not how low the shot goes, remeber you wont do much at 40yds, it is a far way at a bunny.

Thats about it really, and yes the gun is perfect for bunnys and pigeons, with a rabbit always try to get a head shot, pigeons also get a head on neck, they can be quite hardy.

What caliber is it?

Hope this helps
