Suffolk shooter
I have a Sabbatti Gardone 12g m/c sporter which i bought 2ndhand. Too be honest the gun had been mistreated before I got it, but considering the stock is too short for me I like the gun, just don't shoot well with it. IMO I think it's an ideal first gun, works like all others i.e. you point it and pull the trigger and it goes bang. A good gun for roughshooting or pigeons. I have used it this year on the phezzie shoot and other than I'm a diabolical shot with it, it does the job. I would like to get the barrels re-blacked and get the stock lengthened, and the only other thing I have noticed with mine lately is that the bottom firing pin could do with being replaced due to a bit of pitting on it. If it's your first one or to be used alongside another, then I say go for it.
