Did see pigeon hitting barley hard and gest about a 100 or more but havent found who owns the land and shooting rights. Had plenty of rooks crows and jackdaws. About 160 so far how about you ? hexty
I have had a few days of single figures!! Tried over rape, corn and barley. Doesnt help every man and his dog seems to have the same permission as me! Went out last weekend, 3 groups in the field I was in and another person in the next field over! Left in the end felt bit unsafe!! I would settle for a day of 30+ but don't think it will be happening this year!! 😂😂
Alexbb
In Cardiff and surrounding areas just over the channel and there are very few birds and certainly none that would commit to decoying. Very frustrating.
what rabbit
quite a few here in East Devon just not decoying very well , tried all sorts but lucky to get in the teens at the moment
hexty
Been out again today, shot 3! None for decoying had to walk a wood! Grr
timmytree
Decoying to an airgun over barley stubble, 5-7pm each evening I've had 54 since wednesday. On a par with last years figures. Should be better when the wheat gets cut in a couple of weeks.

oowee
I am in Somerset and shoot 3 to 4 times a week over 4000 acres. Pigeons are few and far between with bags in the 20's to low 30's mostly. They are about but dispersed and not in large flocks. Crows and rooks on the other hand are everywhere particulalrly on the dairy farms with large 500 plus flocks. Bags of 50 plus quite common and a total this year of close to 1000. Harder to decoy easier to shoot?
