The Game Licences Act does include rabbits, although they are not classed as game under the act.

There are many exemptions regarding the taking of rabbits. Basically if you are the land owner, tenant, owner of the shooting rights or have authorisation from one of these people you are exempt from the need to have a game licence. These exemptions only apply to rabbits and in some cases hares.

The only time you could be prosecuted for taking rabbits without a game licence is if you do not have permission to be on the land, effectively poaching.

Q ???
